Appointed onto the Executive Committee of EPSIG at RCPsych

I'm pleased to announce that a fortnight ago I was invited onto the executive committee at the Evolutionary Psychiatry Special Interest Group (EPSIG) at the Royal College of Psychiatrists (RCPsych).

Thanks to Riadh Abed and Paul St-John Smith for bringing me onto the team. It's great to connect with others who see the potential and importance in evolutionary psychiatry.

I've also started writing a paper with Riadh and Paul on how evolutionary theory can strengthen the 'biopsychosocial' model of medicine; often mentioned and rarely understood.

I look forward to working with EPSIG to move evolutionary psychiatry forward.
